In India, the agricultural sector provides a living for between 60 and 70 per cent of the population. Therefore, it is our responsibility to educate children about village life, agriculture, and the enormous contribution that farmers make to the growth of our nation.
We recently planned a trip to the nearby Kumbalangi Village in line with this objective. The third and fourth graders learnt about the numerous facets of village life as well as about the lifestyles of the people there.
