Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Radcliffe Group of Schools, we ‘Redefine Education’ through experiential learning. Our ‘Learning by Doing’ approach fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. We encourage students to explore beyond ‘what’ and ‘how’ to the deeper ‘why’. Our goal is to prepare responsible, global citizens equipped to tackle complex issues.

We offer freedom to pursue passions, showcase creativity, and develop social responsibility. Our approach enables learners to achieve academic and career goals while cultivating kindness, morality, and empathy.

The Radcliffe Differentiation

True ‘International’ Education

Unlike schools which add ‘International’ to their name, but provide the same age-old education, our offering of the cutting edge international curriculums of IB and Cambridge is going to give your child the real ‘International education’ exposure and allow them a big step forward in life

Individualized Learning

At Radcliffe, students are motivated to choose an individual learning trajectory, creating their own path of learning. With ample support provided by the teachers along the way, students can learn at their own pace. Teachers do not limit the choices of your child. Instead, they course-correct it, channelling the attention and interests of students to new opportunities.

We don’t ‘Teach’, We ‘Educate’

The days of mugging up and regurgitating in the exam are gone. To prepare your child as a leader for tomorrow, you need to give them a ‘Thinking’ education that allows them to think for themselves, develop strong communication and critical thinking skills, while still enhancing their roots and cultural heritage. Our skill focused education will prepare your children as global citizens

True ‘Happy School’

A happy child is a learning child. We, at Radcliffe, strive to create an environment for the children where focus is on a happy environment. We believe in a joyful learning process where everyday is a festival of learning for the child

So what exactly is the InternationalBaccalaureate?

The INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) is a global leader in education – developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident and caring young people for more than 50 years. One of world’s most renowned international curriculum, IB’s mission is to empowering school-aged students to take ownership of their own learning and helping them develop far sightedness and intercultural education to make a difference in this technologically advanced world that is ever changing.

Students under the IB curriculum are encouraged to think critically and out of the box, to ask the right questions, and to target multiple disciplines. Fostering a healthy appetite for learning, the model exposes children to real world issues and enables within them the understanding of cultural diversity. These traits have made IB students succeed and achieve footholds in some of the best colleges and Universities in India and abroad.

IB Philosophy

Each child is born with a set of culture and values which have to be an intrinsic part of their teaching and growth process. Education should enhance qualities like tolerance, compassion, respect and co-existence leading to a peaceful life on this planet. Our school instils leadership qualities to surge into the evolving world. With an environment where there is continuous learning, critical thinking and excellence in academics, the child develops holistically. As a well knit community with a team of learners, an open environment is created and promotes international mindedness.

Primary Years  Program* (PYP)

A curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding, a student centered approach to education for 3–12-year-olds.

What is your memorable early learning experience? If you’re like many adults, you have fond memories of kindergarten. We now know that those early kindergarten years are key for the right brain development of the child.

The IB-PYP is a curriculum framework for young learners aged 3 to 12. The PYP is based on the recognition of a child’s natural curiosity, creativity and ability to reflect. It generates a stimulating, challenging learning environment to nurture the whole child and foster love of learning for all.

Building upon a solid academic foundation, the Programme develops students’ confidence, helps them manage their learning, and teaches them to connect the dots between classroom learning and real-world challenges. Radcliffe offers a unique blend of the PYP curriculum with our existing formula of concrete academic learning, creating the best of both worlds.

Radcliffe School is a Candidate School for the IB PYP program*. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Radcliffe school believes is important for our students.

Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme* (PYP), the Middle Years Programme* (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org

The IB Learner  Profile in PYP

The IB Learner Profile is at the key to the IB way of teaching. IB learners strive to become inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective. These attributes represent a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond intellectual development and academic success.

The Six Subject areas identified within the PYP are :

Language

Social Studies

Maths

Arts

Science

Personal, Social and Physical Education

These subjects are not taught in isolation but through the PYP’s well-structured transdisciplinary model. Students learn to appreciate knowledge, conceptual understandings, skills and personal attributes as a connected whole. In the final year of the PYP, students take part in the PYP exhibition. The exhibition is an authentic process for students to explore, document and share their understanding of an issue or opportunity of personal significance.
