Field Trip to Flamingo Point

Field Trip to Flamingo Point

The Radcliffe Group of Schools, Ulwe, organised an excursion to Seawoods Flamingo Point for our Nursery kids. As part of the curriculum, students learnt about birds and insects; they were more linked to nature and began to appreciate its seductive beauty.

Every year, hundreds of flamingos flock to Navi Mumbai’s salt flats. The youngsters were awestruck by the tall, long-legged, beautiful beasts with pink plumes hidden under their wings.

This was a #fantastic experience for the children as they practically observed the distinctive features of the birds.
